It is specially designed for prechamber applications like Rolls Royce®, Wärtsilä®, Jenbacher® and Waukesha®. Thanks to the bigger Iridium material used and the cold design of the spark plug it can also be used as the successor of the GI3-1 Performer. The GI3-4 takes better care of heat dissipation through the use of a copper cored ground electrode.
