HTX Prestige SAE 40 is a mineral technology engine oil suitable for the oldest of classic cars. HTX PRESTIGE SAE 40 motor oils have been specially formulated for engines of vehicles built between 1900 and 1950, for models without oil filter or with cyclone separator. HTX Prestige SAE 40 could also be used for older vehicles. The mineral technology fits the tougher, thicker oil film needs of the engine, for maximum protection, in standard driving condition. Compatible with most of the seals of vintage cars. Optimised detergent levels to avoid carbon build up wash away, thereby preventing leaks from where carbon build up has become the seal itself. Because classic cars can spend long periods off the road (winter for example), the ELF HTX Prestige SAE 40 includes technology in its unique formula to provide rust and corrosion protection. Special dispersant additives prevent soot, metals and the by-products of combustion settling out in the sump and other areas of the engine. Compatible with standard and classic car fuels.
